TRAUMA - 04/04
Getting Rid of Nightmares (Therapeutic Interventions)

Genre: Yoga Therapy + Advaita Psychology + Vedic Psychology + Exposure Healing.

A nightmare is a disturbing or frightening dream that usually wakes you up and leaves you feeling scared, anxious, or upset. Nightmares often involve threats to your safety, such as being chased, falling, or facing danger, but they can also bring up emotional fears like losing a loved one.

Nightmare Therapy

Getting Rid of Nightmares (Therapeutic Interventions) program addresses nightmares, often related to trauma or anxiety, by helping individuals alter or "re-program" the content of their nightmares. It involves yoga therapy, simulation based guided imagery and cognitive reframing, which can quickly help adults in getting rid from the overall negative impact of nightmares.

Nightmares associated with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are typically related to a traumatic event that the individual has experienced. The content of PTSD nightmares often directly reflects or symbolically represents aspects of the traumatic experience, such as the threat, fear, or distressing memories associated with it. In contrast, nightmares unrelated to PTSD can encompass a wide range of themes and may not necessarily be linked to a specific traumatic event.
