A Panchakarma Therapist Course is a professional training program that teaches students the traditional Ayurvedic detoxification and rejuvenation therapies used in Ayurveda. The course focuses on core of therapy such as Virechana, Janu Basti, Kati Basti, Shirodhara along with practical skills such as body massage techniques, use of herbal oils, patient preparation, and post-treatment care. Course focuses on healing patients suffering from joint pain, lower back pain, pain in spinal cord, pain in shoulders / shoulder lock, muscular pain etc, Students learn both theoretical concepts of Ayurvedic health and hands-on clinical practice, preparing them to assist Ayurvedic doctors in hospitals, wellness centers, spas, and Panchakarma clinics. After completing the course, graduates can work as Panchakarma therapists or wellness practitioners, helping people improve their health through natural detoxification and holistic healing methods.

Course Structure

1. Panchakarma Foundation: Panchakarma foundation course introduces the core principles of Ayurveda and builds a strong base in its detoxification therapies. It covers the fundamentals of doshas, basic diagnostic understanding, and the purpose and process of Panchakarma treatments. The course focuses on essential techniques, use of oils and herbs, and the preparatory and post-therapy care required for effective results. Designed for beginners, it provides both theoretical knowledge and guided practical exposure, helping learners develop the confidence to understand and support Panchakarma practices safely and effectively.


 

2. Learn Janu Basti: Janu Basti, a specialized therapy in Ayurveda focused on relieving knee pain and improving joint health. This technique involves creating a reservoir around the knee using herbal dough and filling it with warm medicated oil to deeply nourish the tissues, reduce stiffness, and support mobility. In this training, you will understand the correct procedure, oil selection, duration, and safety precautions, along with practical guidance to perform the therapy effectively for different conditions under proper supervision.

3. Learn Kati Basti: Kati Basti, a therapeutic procedure from Ayurveda designed to support lower back health and relieve stiffness and discomfort. This treatment involves placing a ring of herbal dough on the lower back and filling it with warm medicated oil, allowing deep penetration to nourish muscles, improve circulation, and ease tension. In this training, you will learn the correct technique, selection of appropriate oils, duration of therapy, and important safety guidelines, along with practical skills to perform Kati Basti effectively under proper guidance.

4. Learn Greeva Basti: Greeva Basti, a focused therapy from Ayurveda that targets the neck and cervical region to relieve stiffness, pain, and tension. This procedure involves forming a herbal dough ring around the neck area and filling it with warm medicated oil, allowing deep nourishment of muscles and joints while improving flexibility and circulation. In this training, you will learn the correct method, suitable oil selection, treatment duration, and safety precautions, along with hands-on guidance to perform Greeva Basti effectively for different conditions.

5. Learn Shiro Basti: Shiro Basti, a specialized therapy in Ayurveda focused on promoting head, scalp, and neurological health. This treatment involves creating a herbal dough reservoir on the forehead and filling it with warm medicated oil, which helps relieve headaches, stress, insomnia, and other head or nerve-related imbalances. In this training, you will gain practical skills in the correct application, oil selection, therapy duration, and safety measures, enabling you to perform Shiro Basti effectively under expert supervision.

6. Learn Shirodhara: Shirodhara, a renowned therapy in Ayurveda designed to calm the mind, balance doshas, and promote deep relaxation. In this treatment, a continuous stream of warm medicated oil is gently poured over the forehead, helping to relieve stress, anxiety, insomnia, and neurological tension. This training teaches the proper technique, choice of oils, duration, and safety precautions, along with hands-on guidance to perform Shirodhara effectively, ensuring both therapeutic benefits and client comfort.
